Abstract
Ocean Futures seeks to contribute to the sustainable use of our world’s oceans. They conduct multidisciplinary research and offer advice on marine activities and resources of the oceans, seabed, and polar regions. Their activities include research of: environmental conditions; responsible development of living and mineral resources; shipping and integrated interest management. Ocean Futures identify and analyse present and future economic opportunities and give advice on political, social and legal circumstances that might facilitate or constrain commercial ocean activities.
