Abstract
Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water manages all Alaskan state-owned land except for trust property and units of the Alaska State Park System and is responsible for acquiring and defending the State's title to its lands. The aim is toward maximum use of lands and waters consistent with the public interest.
