Abstract
The Arctic Studies Center invites exploration of the history of northern peoples, cultures, and environments and the issues that matter to northern residents today. As part of the Department of Anthropology, in the National Museum of Natural History, a section of the Smithsonian Institution, the Center seeks to bring ASC researchers together with community scholars in the collaborative exploration of the cultural heritage represented in these impressive collections and support indigenous efforts to preserve cultural heritage.
