Abstract
Port of Kirkenes as the gateway to the Barents sea and the Northern Sea Route. Closeness to Murmansk, Russia, makes the port of Kirkenes the base for fuel change, repair and other services. The monograph presents current and future opportunities for further development of one of the key Arctic trans - shipment hubs and its local community.
