Abstract
At its eighth session in May 2009, the Permanent Forum appointed Lars-Anders Baer, Member of the Permanent Forum, as Special Rapporteur to prepare a study on the matter of impact of climate change adaptation and mitigation measures on reindeer herding and requested the report be submitted to the Permanent Forum’s ninth session in April 2010. This Study on the impact of climate change adaptation and mitigation measures on reindeer herding is a synthesis of a more extended paper.
